If turned off and back on soon after the pump will not run if the pressure is still there.Take a pair of bare metal handled pliers and jump across the solenoid that is just to the rear and below the drivers seat. Be careful, as it will start in any gear without pressing the brake pedal. Hello. I have a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570. Bought it used and everything seems perfect on it except starting. Half the time I go to start it the engine attempts to turn over but doesn’t. If I try again it turns over and fires up nicely.
